HOW TO CHOSE A SPORTS CAMP OR CLINIC?
Choosing what camp or clinic can be a very hard decision in today's economic world. Many times some of the best sports camps are conducted by smaller schools. Many large schools use camps as a money making event rather than for the betterment of the child. Before you sign up for a camp look at the size of the camp. If you want to be seen don't choose a huge school. Realistically, you may see the head coach one time and they won't even remember your name. Smaller camps, when young, will allow you to better your skill. NO NCAA SCHOOL can talk to your daughter or sone before there junior season. All of these parents saying their child has committed to a big school as a freshman are either telling you a pile of "something" or doing something illegal. Don't be fooled.
SHOULD I PLAY HIGH SCHOOL?
This is a very difficult question. Madco Sports believes in some sports, no high school is not important. Many of the high school coaches are really not qualified to coach that particular sport. In certain sports it is much more important who you played for during other times outside of high schools. It is important to explore all of your options before making any decisions.
